Joe and Claudette Jones, who are the proprietors, are both of Barbadian birth and spent many years living in Canada. I, Earl, am by profession, a Bio-Medical Engineering Technologist while Claudette has many years of working with the Canadian Government, as well as banking and legal areas both in Barbados and Canada.

It has always been a dream of ours to design and build apartments to our own specific requirements – where we personally would stay when on holiday – what we would expect with regards to standards and environment when renting vacation accommodation – bright, airy, open-plan, breezing and above all, creating a holiday home where families can sit back in the comforts of their own secure space and just relax.

Blue Ocean Apartments, Barbados are owned and operated by Joey 2000 Inc, a Barbados registered company which has holdings in real estate in Rockley, an old residential upscale area of Christ Church. Our long-term aim is to develop a set of luxury homes and villas. Blue Ocean Apartments is our first commercial project. Through hard-work and determination, we feel we have accomplished a landmark in creating a perfect place for persons to stay when visiting the beautiful island of Barbados.
